Mr. David Habeck

Mr. Habeck was born and raised in Kewaunee, Wisconsin. During his elementary school years, he attended Immanuel Lutheran School. For high school he journeyed 30 miles south to attend Manitowoc Lutheran High School. After attending Wisconsin Lutheran Teaching College for one (and its final) year, he concluded his college training at (D)MLC in New Ulm, Minnesota. Mr. Habeck’s teaching career of service to the Lord began in a one-room schoolhouse in Iron Ridge, Wisconsin called Zum Kripplein Christi.
Mr. Habeck has been happily married to his wife Gretchen for 44 years. They have six children and are blessed with 12 grandchildren. Mr. Habeck enjoys his spare time sharing it with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He is a Wisconsin sports fan of the Brewers, Bucks, Packers, and Badgers (and Washington Huskie football).

Mr. Ryan Schmeling

Mr. Schmeling was born in Redwood Falls, MN. He attended St. John’s Lutheran School in Waterloo, WI, St. Paul’s Lutheran School in Menomonie, WI & St. Croix Lutheran High School in West St. Paul, MN. In 2012 Mr. Schmeling taught English for one semester in South Korea, before he was assigned to his first call to Grace Lutheran Grade School in Portland, OR.
Mr. Schmeling’s favorite color is blue. He enjoys playing sports, hiking, kayaking, and traveling.
He met his wife Kimberly (Matthies) at Martin Luther College and they were married May 2, 2014. Kimberly, a former Kindergarten/1st grade teacher, is now a lead flight attendant at SeaTac Airport with SkyWest Airlines. They are expecting their first child in October 2020.

Mrs. Sorn is a graduate of Martin Luther College and is married to Principal Brent Sorn of Parkland Lutheran School in Tacoma. Mrs. Sorn has been teaching for 12 years at the high school level and brings excitement and expertise to our math department. Principal and Mrs. Sorn have two children and are members at Parkland Lutheran Church.

Mr. Bunkowske was born in Grand Rapids, MN. He attended Great Plains Lutheran HIgh School in Watertown, SD. Mr. Bunkowske lives with his wife, Karly, and his son, Harrison, who was born in October 2019. He is currently persuing his master’s degree in Sports Administration from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
Mr. Bunkoswke’s favorite color, besides the Eagle green & blue, is orange. He enjoys watching Minnesota sports teams (especially the Vikings and Twins), hiking, kayaking, and spending time with family.

Mr. Schmudlach is a 2015 graduate of Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN. Mr. Schmudlach has taught Spanish in Minnesota for three years at Hutchinson public School, Minnesota State University (teaching assistant/graduate student), and Cleveland Public School. He has also taught ESL in Lima, Peru and guided high schoolers throughout Latin America

Mr. Josh Enstad

Mr. Enstad was born and raised in Andover, Minnesota. He attended Cross of Christ in Coon Rapids, MN for K-8 and attended high school at Luther Preparatory School in Watertown, WI, living in the dormitories.
Mr. Enstad and his wife Maggie live in Federal Way and attend Holy Trinity in Des Moines where Maggie teaches 2nd grade.
Mr. Enstad’s favorite color is green and he enjoys hiking, playing board games, watching movies, and listening to pod casts.

Jodi Wosje came to Evergreen in 1998, taking on the choirs and beginning a high school band program. A year later she started the TELSS grade school band program which has included up to eight different WELS and ELS grade schools between 1999 and 2013. She is a graduate of Bethany Lutheran College (Mankato, MN) and Gustavus Adolphus College (St. Peter, MN). Mrs. Wosje enjoys reading, sports, cheering for the Green Bay Packers, and music (of course!). She has been married to husband David for one year, and the two of them enjoy traveling together, camping, hiking, the great outdoors (especially their favorite place—Mt. Rainier), and visiting family.

Mrs. Wilcox was born in Menomonie, Wisconsin, where she attended St. Paul’s Lutheran School until the 8th grade. She was raised on a dairy farm and can tell you more than you or she could ever want to know about cattle. Her favorite color is red and she enjoys painting, reading, gardening, knitting, and weightlifting
Her husband James is the pastor at Faith in Tacoma and an Evergreen alum. They have two future eagles: Addison, a fifth grader who enjoys sports, music, and reading; she says she’d like to teach someday. Erin, a third grader who enjoys art, writing, and horses; she says she’d like to be an author/illustrator with horse ranch.

Mrs. Rodmyre was born in Lacey, WA. She attended Our Redeemer Lutheran Church and School in Yelm, WA and is a graduate of Evergreen and Martin Luther College. Mrs. Rodmyre’s favorite color is green and she enjoys scrapbooking, crafting, home projects, but she loves hanging out with her family most of all.

Mrs. Buller was born in Lubbock Texas. She has lived in the PNW, the midwest, and even Germany as her father was in the military. Mrs. Buller’s favorite color is purple with sparkles! She enjoys camping, hiking, spending time at the lake or the beach, and playing board games with her familiy. She loves a good cup of coffee and truly dislikes shoes.
