Mr. Kyle Raymond

Mr. Raymond was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI. He graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran School in Milwaukee and Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN. He later earned his master’s degree in School Leadership from Grand Canyon University.
Mr. Raymond has served as principal and teacher at schools in Wisconsin, California, and Texas. His family moved to Washington in the summer of 2021.
Mr. Raymond has been married to his wife Amy for 25 years, and they have been blessed with four children ranging in ages from 16-21. They enjoy spending time outdoors together, as well as spending time together on the water. They also look forward to getting to know the people and the opportunities that the Pacific Northwest has to offer.

Mr. Ryan Schmeling

Mr. Schmeling was born in Redwood Falls, MN. He attended St. John’s Lutheran School in Waterloo, WI, St. Paul’s Lutheran School in Menomonie, WI & St. Croix Lutheran High School in West St. Paul, MN. In 2012 Mr. Schmeling taught English for one semester in South Korea, before he was assigned to his first call to Grace Lutheran Grade School in Portland, OR.
Mr. Schmeling’s favorite color is blue. He enjoys playing sports, hiking, kayaking, and traveling.
He met his wife Kimberly (Matthies) at Martin Luther College and they were Married May 2, 2014. Kimberly, a former Kindergarten/1st grade teacher, is now a lead flight attendant at SeaTac Airport with SkyWest Airlines. They have one daughter, Mya, born in 2020 who loves attending Evergreen events.
Ryan and his family enjoy utilizing their travel benefits to visit family around the country and getting out of the US and experiencing new places. He currently has 4/50 states left to visit and has been to over 25 countries.)

Mrs. Sorn is a graduate of Martin Luther College and is married to Principal Brent Sorn of Parkland Lutheran School in Tacoma. Mrs. Sorn has been teaching for 12 years at the high school level and brings excitement and expertise to our math department. Principal and Mrs. Sorn have two children and are members at Parkland Lutheran Church.

Mr. Schmudlach is a 2015 graduate of Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN. Mr. Schmudlach has taught Spanish in Minnesota for three years at Hutchinson public School, Minnesota State University (teaching assistant/graduate student), and Cleveland Public School. He has been teaching at ELHS since 2018. Mr. Schmudlach has also taught ESL in Lima, Peru and guided high schoolers throughout Latin America. His favorite color is surf green. He enjoys traveling domestically and internationally.

Mr. Josh Enstad

Mr. Enstad was born and raised in Andover, Minnesota. He attended Cross of Christ in Coon Rapids, MN for K-8 and attended high school at Luther Preparatory School in Watertown, WI, living in the dormitories.
Mr. Enstad and his wife Maggie live in Federal Way and attend Holy Trinity in Des Moines where Maggie teaches 2nd grade.
Mr. Enstad’s favorite color is green and he enjoys hiking, playing board games, watching movies, and listening to pod casts.

Jodi (Justman) Wosje grew up in Wausau, WI, and graduated from Northland Lutheran High School. She is a graduate of Bethany Lutheran College (Mankato, MN) and Gustavus Adolphus College (St. Peter, MN). Jodi came to Evergreen in 1998, taking over the choirs and beginning a high school band program. A year later she started the TELSS grade school band program which has included up to eight different WELS and ELS grade schools throughout the years and grew to a record high 45 students enrolled last school year. Jodi was elected this past November to serve on the executive committee of WELS choral directors, where in addition to occasional meetings online or in the Midwest, she is responsible for planning and organizing the annual WELS Choral Directors Dialogue in July.
Mrs. Wosje enjoys hanging out with friends, sports, reading, and playing her flute when she gets a chance. She has been married to husband David (ELHS class of ‘85) since 2014, and the two of them enjoy traveling together, camping, hiking, the great outdoors (especially their favorite place: Mt. Rainier), and visiting family.

Ms. Emily Muir

Ms. Emily Muir was born and raised in Watertown, Wisconsin. She graduated Luther Prep in 2014 and continued on to Martin Luther College where she studied Elementary Education with minors in math and science. Upon graduation in May of 2016, Emily received the call to be a Tutor (dorm supervisor) and teach science at Luther Prep. After serving there for 2 years, Emily received a call to serve at Evergreen Lutheran High School.
Ms. Muir’s favorite color is blue. Her favorite hobby would be CrossFit. She enjoys being a CrossFit athlete and competing in CrossFit as a sport. You can find her in 1 of 3 places: school, the box (CrossFit gym), or Anthem (coffee lover).

Mr. Evan Kolander

Mr. Evan Kolander grew up in Menomonee Falls, WI with two older sisters and one younger brother. He graduated from Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN in 2020 majoring in Secondary Social Studies Education. He teaches World History and U.S. History for Amazing Grace Virtual Academy.
Mr. Kolander and his wife, Chantel, met at MLC and married in 2020. They both enjoy disc golfing, tabletop gaming and taking care of their dog, Dez. Evan likes to watch and play many sports. Other interests include reading and over-analyzing tv shows and movies. His favorite color is blue.

Mrs. Wilcox was born in Menomonie, Wisconsin, where she attended St. Paul’s Lutheran School until the 8th grade. She was raised on a dairy farm and can tell you more than you or she could ever want to know about cattle. Her favorite color is red and she enjoys painting, reading, gardening, knitting, and weightlifting
Her husband James is the pastor at Faith in Tacoma and an Evergreen alum. They have two future eagles: Addison, a seventh grader who enjoys sports, music, and reading; she says she’d like to teach someday. Erin, a fifth grader who enjoys art, writing, and horses; she says she’d like to be an author/illustrator with a horse ranch.

Mrs. Buller was born in Lubbock Texas. She has lived in the PNW, the midwest, and even Germany as her father was in the military. Mrs. Buller’s favorite color is purple with sparkles! She enjoys camping, hiking, spending time at the lake or the beach, and playing board games with her familiy. She loves a good cup of tea and truly dislikes shoes.
