Evergreen is pleased to offer tuition assistance in the form of Financial Aid. 81% of our students are awarded financial aid each year totaling $110,000. In addition, we are excited to offer two scholarship opportunities. The Bill & Lois Lobeda Scholarship and the Wayne & Renee Baxmann Scholarship.

Bill & Lois Lobeda scholarship

The Bill & Lois Lobeda scholarship is awarded annually for students interested in pursuing a life in ministry. Application deadline is July 15, 2019. The application form can be found here.

Lois and her late husband Bill have always had a love for the ministry at Evergreen Lutheran High School.  Ever since the school’s inception in 1978 Lois would volunteer time playing organ at the DuPont location.  Both have been supporting Evergreen and its ministry ever since.  They have seen the Lord’s hand many times in their lives through their 68 years of marriage and want to encourage others to learn about their Savior as well.  They believe that Christian Education at Evergreen is so important to prepare them for their future.  Bill and Lois are setting up this scholarship to support those students who desire to continue from Evergreen in pursuit of serving in ministry.

This scholarship was established in 2017 with a large gift from Lois Lobeda. The scholarship is awarded annually to one boy and/or girl entering grades 10, 11, or 12 who show a career interest in ministry.

Wayne & Renee Baxmann Scholarship

The Wayne & Renee Baxmann Scholarship is an annual scholarship for one family in financial need but wanting Christian education for their children. Application deadline is July 15, 2019. The application form can be found here.

Wayne and Renee have dedicated their lives to supporting and encouraging Christian Education at all levels.  They have had a deep love for the ministry at Evergreen ever since Wayne was called to be principal in 1978.  They know that deciding to send your children through Christian Education is a financial burden that not all families are able to take on.  They have set up this legacy scholarship to help one family a year to help ease that financial burden and help make Evergreen a possibility for a family who otherwise wouldn’t be able to attend.  They say that God has blessed them in their marriage and lives in so many ways they hope this scholarship does the same to those who receive it in the future.

This scholarship was established in 2018/2019 with a gift from Wayne and Renee Baxmann. The scholarship is awarded annually to one family who recognize the benefit of Christian Education but would otherwise not be able to afford it without help from others.
