Summer Camps
Baseball/Softball Camp
  • Boys and Girls: 5th through 9th grade
  • June 22-23
  • 5 pm—8 pm

This camp will introduce and enhance your child's baseball and softball skills by offering pitching, catching, hitting, and fielding instruction and experience. Campers should bring a baseball or softball glove, athletic shoes or cleats, comfortable workout clothes, a bat (if you have one), and a good attitude!

 
Volleyball Camp
  • Girls: 5th through 9th grade
  • June 27-30
  • 9 am—12:30 pm

This camp is highly organized to give your child quality skill-specific instruction to prepare them to play at the middle and high school setting. Two levels of instruction are presented at this camp. The first will break down fundamentals of serving, passing, setting, blocking and hitting. The second level is intended for more advanced players and will focus on fundamental review with additional team experience. Players should bring gym shoes, knee pads, water bottle, and a positive attitude.
 
 
Basketball Camp
  • Boys and Girls: 5th through 9th grade
  • July 25-28
  • 9 am—2 pm
  • Early Bird (by March 10) - Cost $60
  • Regular (March 11—June 10) - Cost $75
  • Transportation: 8:15 am departure from Holy Trinity Lutheran, 2021 S 260th St, Des Moines/ 8:00 am departure from Bethany Lutheran School, 151 Tremont W, Port Orchard.

This athletic camp will introduce and enhance skills needed to play at the varsity level. Basic fundamentals are taught with emphasis on shooting and shooting form, ball handling, and passing skills. Our goal is to provide a memorable experience in a Christian setting while under the constant care and supervision of our qualified coaches. Parents are invited to watch your child's progress at any time during the camp. Players should bring gym shoes, water bottle, and a sack lunch each day.

 
Robotics Camp
  • Boys and Girls: 6th—9th grade
  • August 1-4
  • 9 am—11:30 am
  • Cost—$150

Join us at robotics camp on the ELHS campus where attendees will design and construct robots, use NXT-G and EVO programming and ROBOTC language. Students learn problem solving, how to collaborate with a team, and gain a deeper awareness of computer science by exploring robotics.
 
Spanish Camp
  • Boys and Girls: 6th—9th grade
  • August 1-4
  • 12 pm—3 pm
  • Cost—$30

This camp hosted by ELHS Spanish instructor Pastor Jim Getka will introduce students to the Spanish language and culture through interactive games and activities.
