WELCOME
Welcome to another school year. It, as usual, will be very busy. To keep athletes and families informed of the upcoming activities, the TIME IN is published once a week, typically on a Thursday. A paper copy is given to the athletes and an e-version is sent via the email. In the sporting world, a “time out” indicates that the action stops for a bit. Well, in the world of ELHS sports and activities, the action never stops; hence, the name TIME IN, the action is on! This publication is meant to keep everyone up to date with the latest schedules.

TACOMA BUS
As your child should have informed you, this fall we are no longer doing the early (3:10) bus run unless we have at least 5 students that need a ride. Anytime a team doesn’t practice or have a game, the early bus will run. Also the after practice bus will leave ELHS as close to 5:30 as possible. Under normal traffic conditions that means 6:05 stop at the Kurbis residence and 6:15 at Faith. Our coaching staff will do their best to keep this schedule.

APPLAUSE, APPLAUSE
One thing that impresses other schools, shows good Christian sportsmanship, and encourages athletes is fans always applauding their athletes when they come off the field or court. They applaud whether the athlete did well or not. They applaud because that athlete was representing their school in that activity. Think about it and maybe ELHS fans can lead the way in showing support for our athletes. And, if you want to, you certainly can applaud the efforts our opponents too. Those athletes are engaging in a positive after-school activity. So, cheer, and especially cheer for our young Eagles as they enter and leave an athletic contest.

So, now the activities…
